Asbestos Testing and Removal
Asbestos is a silent killer… and most people don’t even know they have it!
Test it.
Many homes built before 1990 contain asbestos in old floor tiles, ceiling tiles, roof shingles, boiler insulation, duct wrap, drywall and ceiling texture and insulation (around boilers, ducts, pipes, sheeting, fireplaces), pipe cement and joint compound used on seams between pieces of sheetrock. Some homes may also contain vermiculite attic insulation.
A visual inspection of your home is usually not sufficient enough to determine if it contains asbestos, nor do we recommend you trying to deal with a potential asbestos problem yourself. By calling Phoenix Restoration, we can safely eliminate asbestos exposure for you and your family. Our professionally trained techs are able to come to your home to take samples of suspected asbestos areas which we will send to a certified, accredited laboratory for fibre analysis.
Remove it.
If your asbestos test comes back positive, our certified team is trained in the safe handling, removal and disposal of this hazardous material. We guarantee safe and proper removal of the affected area and restoration of your home or office space.
